RBP Gives Social Media Presentation

Rockbeatspaper was hired at the first of the year to complete a development-only project by the NC Credit Union League (NCCUL). The NCCUL partnered with the SC Credit Union League (SCCUL) to complete a marketing & awareness campaign called itpays2CU. After the successful launch of the itpays2CU web site, RBP was invited to give a presentation on web design & social media at a local marketing conference hosted by the NCCUL.

The conference was held on April 30th and was attended by 30-40 marketing professionals from several member credit unions across NC. We gave a 2-hour presentation focusing on the web design process and new emerging social media practices. We received a great response to the information given with a huge amount of interest being shown concerning the social media portion of our presentation. We found the attendees to be aware of the emergence of social media as a marketing tool and interested in ways to leverage these new tools within their organizations.

The NCCUL was very pleased with our presentation and the response received from the attendees. RBP has been invited to speak at a 3-day marketing conference to be held in September in Wilmington, NC. This conference is also being hosted by the NCCUL.
